Show Notes

In this episode of Coaching in Conversation, Tracy has a conversation with Karen Dean.

Karen is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Master Certified Coach with 30 years and more than 15,000 hours coaching individuals and leadership teams. Karen has delivered in more than 90 organisations, across 22 sectors worldwide. She believes that she has the courage to to usefully provoke and challenge her clients. She works with precision and bends this approach with the sensitivity to support as needed. She enjoys complexity and seeking clarity and simplicity, which is valuable in her supervision practice. Endlessly curious, she has applied this to innovating tools for coaches.

Karen is the co-author of Coaching Stories: Flowing and Falling of Being a Coach (2019). She was awarded “Joint winner — Best Feature Article” in the Coaching at Work magazine in 2016 and shortlisted in 2017. She has been a guest on a number of podcasts and was interviewed in a 2-part production of “The Workplace” on Resonance FM, a London arts radio station where she was invited to share her expertise, knowledge and insights from working with teams.

Karen is an original thinker and innovator who created me.my team. This is a diagnostic for team leaders and coaches working with teams to assess, prepare for, and conduct inclusive conversations. This enables a broad population in an organisation to consistently approach change with a common language and understanding.
